Privacy Policy

Hope and Happiiness (“we”, “us”) is run by Dr. Monica Nagpal, Ph.D, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and the choices you have. We have kept the website deliberately simple so that it collects as little as possible.

The short version

• This website does not use cookies and does not ask you to create an account.
• The enquiry form does not store anything on this website. It opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message ready to send, and you decide whether to send it.
• We count page visits anonymously, without cookies, to understand which pages are useful.
• We never sell your information.

Information we receive

When you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp, email us, call us, or send the enquiry form, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address and message. We use it only to reply, arrange sessions or workshops, and provide the services you ask for.

Messages sent on WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp (Meta), and emails by our email provider (Google Gmail), under their own privacy policies.

When you book or pay

Calls are booked through Cal.com and held on Zoom. If you book, Cal.com receives the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number and the topic, and adds the call to our calendar.

Payments are made on Razorpay’s own secure page. Razorpay handles your payment details, and we never see or store your card or UPI details. We receive your email, phone number and the amount paid, so that we can match your payment to your session. Cal.com, Zoom and Razorpay handle your information under their own privacy policies.

When you browse the website

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like all web servers, Vercel automatically records basic technical details of each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally; visitors are counted using a short-lived anonymous identifier that changes every day. We only see totals, such as how many people visited a page.

Content from other websites

Some pages show video thumbnails loaded from YouTube, and links to our YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages. Videos only load the YouTube player, in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, when you press play. Loading a thumbnail or following a link sends your request to that service, which handles it under its own privacy policy. Our fonts are stored on our own website, so no font requests go to Google.

Children

Some of our sessions and workshops are for children and teenagers. We ask that enquiries and bookings for anyone under 18 are made by a parent or guardian, and we only collect a child’s information with their parent or guardian’s consent. Schools that book workshops are responsible for their own communication with parents.

How long we keep information

We keep messages and contact details only for as long as we need them to respond to you, provide our services, and keep basic records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, or stop using it;
• nominate someone to act for you.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
